For the last couple of days, I have been engrossed in our new lunch menu launch preparation and have been working long evenings and early mornings, all that to say I’ve developed a whole new appreciation for a simple cup of coffee!
The very same coffee I drink is the same coffee which we serve with pride to our customers in The Oxford Brunch Bar, a cafe in Oxford and I hope it brings our customers the same joy it brings me, an experience of achieving something which we were longing for and worth every minute we spent waiting.
I’ll also take this opportunity to share the secret of our smooth and flavourful coffee with our readers as well.
Long before, when we started our Brunch bar in Oxford City center, we were very curious about selecting the suppliers for good coffee beans. Being a locally owned business, we decided we wanted to exclusively use locally sourced artisan products, to give customers the best from the local suppliers and to showcase the true flavours of oxford. After a thorough study about the range of coffees, brewing styles, and from where they source the beans, we decided to build our future together and joined hands with Bean bags coffee.
They built a successful business based on the quality of the coffee beans and to promote the enterprising farmers who care for them. For us, it has always been important that our suppliers have similar values to us to promote both ethical and environmental sustainability, and helping to support farmers in less developed countries is something we were so happy to get on board with!
Another aspect we are very passionate about is quality. The coffee beans should always be fresh, so Beanbags take roasting very seriously, and do roasting in small batches. The taste of coffee is most important to the experience, which is why we are very grateful to have an incredible house blend, that is always freshly roasted and personally chosen by Beanbags for us.
They’ve been supplying Artisan Coffee Beans to cafes, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and educational sites in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire since 2002, and have endeavored to deliver the highest possible quality in coffee. They source beans from rural highlands of Colombia, Vietnam, Brazil, Ethiopia, and from an array of countries to ensure that they have a blend to suit every palate.
